February’s North Georgia Boat Show and Extravaganza is an early season opportunity to check out the newest models of watercraft. Taking place at Gainesville Marina on Dawsonville Highway the weekend of February 16-18, the three-day event will feature in-the-water and on-land boats, both new and pre-owned.

“Our February show is always popular and we’ll once again have a fun event to get people ready for spring and summer,” said Philip Burton, managing partner of Gainesville Marina. “It’s a chance for people who boat in North Georgia to see the latest offerings before the season begins.”

Once again, multiple boat dealers will participate, offering pontoons, tritoons, center consoles, ski boats, deck boats and other water craft, both new models and pre-owned.

Vendors from dock builders to watercraft accessories will be on hand. Food will also be available.

America’s Boating Club Atlanta, The Lake Lanier Association and the Chattahoochee River Keeper will have booths. The lake real estate community will be represented as well.

Gainesville Marina’s Boat Rental will be doing daily drawings for half-day and full-day rental prizes.

“We’re right on track for a great show again this year,” Burton said. “We hope that everyone will plan to come out and see us as we all look forward to the 2024 boating season.”
