All year long, colorful sailboats make their way up and down Lake Lanier – from below Browns Bridge south to Buford Dam. Some are cruisers, some are racers, and some are just learning to sail. Lanier has one of the most active inland sailing communities in the Southeast. More than 60 boats participate in the spring/summer/fall Wednesday night racing series, sponsored by Atlanta Inland Sailing Club.
