BFSC (Barefoot Sailing Club) invites you to participate in an open racing event – the Around Alone, our premier solo regatta and a long, time–honored tradition on Lake Lanier. Come on out with the rest of the hardy single-handers on a race from the Chattahoochee Bay area of the Lake, to Buford Dam and back!
Date: Sunday, April 21st, 2024 *** Due to bad weather predicted for Sunday, this event has been moved up to Saturday, April 20th.

Come cheer on your favorite team at the 2024 Gainesville/Hall Dragon Boat Challenge where teams of 11 enter in Dragon Boat racing designed for businesses, government agencies, churches, and neighborhood associations to assemble teams and compete against other like-groups.
