2021 Upper Chatt SUPCAK Race, Gainesville

Come experience the 3rd annual Upper Chatt SUPCAK Race! Organized by the White County UGA Extension 4-H Club, this race serves as a fundraiser for the White County 4-H youth program. 4-H is a national youth development organization that has been in place for 50 years. Races include canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddleboards. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or someone who has never paddled in a race before, this event is for you. There will also be a fun mini-course set up for anyone wanting to get out on a canoe, kayak, or SUP. BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Date: Saturday, October 9th, 2021

Time: 10:00 am (8:00-9:00am registration, 9:30 am racer meeting)

Location: Don Carter State Park – 5000 N Browning Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506

The Laotian American Society (LAS) is bringing this Lao celebration to Georgia titled the Atlanta Lantern Boat Festival to Lake Lanier Olympic Park. In honor of over 20 years of service, LAS is hosting its inaugural annual event this Saturday, November 9. The event will be a fusion of cultures, featuring live music, cultural performances, a night market, a dragon boat demonstration, and a lantern lighting ceremony. Details:
