The Arts Council, in partnership with Downtown Gainesville, hosts this FREE event that supports regional artists and local businesses. Find original artwork for sale, dining at exceptional restaurants, and shopping at one-of-a-kind boutiques. Get the map of locations online and note that many locations are inside.
The Gainesville Trolley will be available, with stops in Downtown, Green Street, and the Brenau District, running from 3 – 8 pm.

2026 Gainesville/Hall Dragon Boat Challenge, Lake Lanier
Gainesville/Hall Dragon Boat Challenge is a community race event. 100% of the proceeds of this event goes to LCKC.
Teams of 11 paddlers ( 10-person + 1 drummer per dragon boat) compete. Businesses, clubs, churches and neighborhoods invited. Entry fee includes a 1.5 hr. practice session the weekend before races with trained steersperson: April 17th (evening), April 18th and 19th (day). All teams will have three, 200 meters races (2 heats and a final).
There is also an exciting distance race for Open and maybe some openings for a few other adventurous teams wanting to take part in racing for + – 2,000 meters.
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026

Location: Lake Lanier Olympic Park, 3105 Clarks Bridge Rd.
