Lanier Auxiliary Racing CommitteeThe Lanier Auxiliary Racing Committee (LARC) was formed by members of the four sailing clubs on Lake Lanier to coordinate racing between the various clubs. LARC coordinates the racing calendar events to minimize conflicts and allows all the clubs to share in the burden of mark replacement and repair. Participation in the LARC fall and winter series is free to all skippers in good standing of any hosting authority; ​BFSC, LLSC, SSC and UYC.

The Laotian American Society (LAS) is bringing this Lao celebration to Georgia titled the Atlanta Lantern Boat Festival to Lake Lanier Olympic Park. In honor of over 20 years of service, LAS is hosting its inaugural annual event this Saturday, November 9. The event will be a fusion of cultures, featuring live music, cultural performances, a night market, a dragon boat demonstration, and a lantern lighting ceremony. Details:
