University of Michigan rowing athletes and coaches bundle up during dinner outside as the unpredictable March weather blows chilly.

Once again Skogies restaurant at Gainesville Marina served a buffet dinner to 80 members of the University of Michigan rowing team in early March. Head Coach Gregg Hartsuff said the team travels south to Lake Lanier because “the water is liquid” this time of year. The team has trained on Lanier for years following the 1996 Olympic Games. Skogies owner Tony Janovich said he has fed the team many times over the past 14 years.
