child tubing on snow covered hill

Margaritaville at Lanier Islands will feature tubing down Blizzard Mountain at License to Chill Snow Island.

Lakeside Lights Spectacular returns to Margaritaville for stroll-through family fun through February 27. It features traditional light displays, high-tech images and Margaritaville-themed scenes as guests walk along Paradise Beach.

“Lakeside Light Spectacular has really grown this year,” said Bucky Perry, vice president of operations at Margaritaville. “We added more lights and really ramped up the experience for our guests of all ages.”

Additionally, Margaritaville’s License to Chill Snow Island features snow tubing on the 575-foot-long 8-story-high Blizzard Mountain, Snowball Alley and skating at Frosty’s Ice Rink for all ages. Carnival rides fill the area with more brightly colored lights, a carousel, Ferris wheel and bumper cars.

Food at Landshark Bar & Grill is complemented by seasonal treats at Jack Frost’s Shark Shack, Santa’s Tiki Bar and Glacier Café and Bakeshop. S’mores kits will be available at Rudolph’s Landing near giant fire pits.

License to Chill and Lakeside Lights Spectacular will be open daily through January 5. Starting January 8, they will be open Saturdays and Sundays, plus Monday, January 17, and Monday, February 21. It will close on February 27.
