MarineMax Cumming, located at Baldridge Marina, is planning an on the water boat show for January 14-17.
“Our goal is to use the unique environment of Bald Ridge Marina and host a tremendous event, says Collin Cordell of MarineMax. “We plan to invite all of the vendors from the (canceled) 2020 Atlanta World Congress Center show.”
Cordell says he has plenty of space for vendors and will be weatherizing the vendor area with tents and temporary structures.
“We will be doing everything possible to offer a safe and comfortable shopping experience for the customer,” he says, adding that food trucks and other activities for attendees are being planned.
A potential big draw for vendors is that the company is not charging a setup fee.
The Atlanta Boat Show was canceled due to the pandemic.
