50th Georgia Apple Festival, Ellijay
The Ellijay Lions Club, the Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce, the cities of Ellijay and East Ellijay, and Gilmer County invite everyone to come and enjoy the 50th year of the Georgia Apple Festival. Though the October 2020 festival was canceled, we are looking forward to the 50th year in 2021. You can expect over 300 vendors with handmade, hand-crafted items, many on-site demonstrations of how selected types of crafts are made, and a parade and antique car show each year.
Date(s): Sat/Sun Oct 9-10, Sat/Sun Oct 16-17
Times: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sundays
Location: Ellijay Lions Club Fairgrounds, 1729 S. Main St. (no pets or firearms allowed)
Cost: $5, free to children younger than 10.
