An Astronomy Education Program: Learn how to use a telescope, view the first quarter moon, stars and constellations.

Date: Saturday, February 25, 2023

Time: 6:15 – 8:15 p.m.

Location: Chicopee Woods Aquatic Studies Center at Chicopee Lake, 2100 Calvary Church Rd.

  • Event is for adults and children age 8 and older.
  • Bring flashlight and pencil.
  • Telescope fee $30 for up to five family members or friend group.
  • Free to Elachee members. Register in advance. 770-535-1976, www.elachee.org.

*you may bring your own telescope – but if you do:  Participants need to know how to set up, use and manipulate their own telescopes. Naturalists are only technically familiar with Elachee telescopes and are not guaranteed to have any knowledge of each individual type brought.
