Dinner, live music and fireworks will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Lake Lanier Olympic Park, July 25 at The Boathouse on Lake Lanier. The dinner will feature specialties created by local chefs from Pop Catering Events. The Atlanta Wedding Band is expected to entice folks onto the dance floor with high energy hits. The celebration moves outside with fireworks over Lake Lanier.
The LLOP fundraiser hosted by the Gainesville Convention & Tourism Bureau, starts with a VIP reception at 6 p.m.; dinner and dancing at 6:30 p.m.; fireworks at 10 p.m. Tickets range from $100 for individuals to $1,000 for a sponsor table of 8 with additional $2,000-$5,000 sponsorship levels.
