Looking for something new this holiday season? Try Gainesville Glows: Lanterns & Lights at the Gainesville Garden of the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
Throughout the 2025 season, the Gainesville Garden has hosted many special events in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Now as the end of 2025 approaches, the Garden will debut its first ever holiday lights show, closing out the 10th anniversary celebration in a festival of lights.
Beginning November 20th and running through January 4th on select nights from 5 – 10 pm, the garden will display luminaries, up-lit trees, lighted woodland animals, a tunnel of light and much more, including opportunities for photographs and roasting s’mores. The 60- to 90-minute walk is sure to brighten your holiday spirits and start a new annual holiday tradition.
As you might imagine, an event of this nature takes planning and hard work – from sponsors and specialists, to staff and volunteers. Recently, volunteers from Truett McConnell University in Cleveland helped set up part of the holiday lights display in the amphitheater area (shown left).
