On Sunday July 20th, Georgia Peach Women’s Sprint Triathlon participants posed for a group photo and sang the National Anthem before entering the lake at 7:30 am to start a 400-yard swim at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville. The triathlon consisted of a 400-yard swim, followed by a 15-mile bike ride and ending with a 5K run.
The top three Overall Sprint Winners were: 1st place Ruth Beucker, 2nd place Patricia Campbell, and 3rd place Alexandra Tuuk. For full race results visit: Georgia Peach Women’s Sprint Triathlon Results. This event was a USA Triathlon sanctioned event and a Georgia Multisports Productions event.
