2025 Gainesville/Hall Dragon Boat Challenge, Lake Lanier
Gainesville/Hall Dragon Boat Challenge is a community race event primarily benefiting the Hall County Special Olympics. Teams of 11 paddlers ( 10-person + 1 drummer per dragon boat) compete. Businesses, clubs, churches and neighborhoods invited. The entry fee includes a 1.5 hour practice session the weekend before the event, with trained steersperson. All teams will have three, 200 meters races (2 heats and a final). We also have the exciting distance race for Open and maybe some openings for a few adventurous other teams wanting to take part in racing for + – 2,000 meters.
