Boatlift remote
control system now available at Marine Specialties
HydroHoist
Marine Group has introduced the HydroLaunch, a control system with
multiple functions for boatlifts.
The system is available at Marine Specialties Inc. on
Browns Bridge Road.
“The HydroLaunch remote control is our latest
high-tech gadget,” said Mike Vaughn, P.E., HydroHoist engineer. “It
has a full range of features including dock lighting control,
monitor mode, push button control panel, manual and automatic up and
down control, auxiliary circuit with timer function, ground fault
circuitry, and leak detection with auto correction. All of these
functions operate with nothing more than the touch of a button.”
In monitor mode, the HydroLaunch watches for
potential leaks in the boat lift system. If a leak should occur and
the boat drops seven inches from maximum capacity height, the
HydroLaunch control unit automatically turns on and airs the lift
back to full capacity, explained Webber.
“Another outstanding feature is that the HydroLaunch
transmitter is waterproof. It is hermetically sealed and floats, so
dropping it into water will not be detrimental to its life,” Vaughn
said.
Working range of the transmitter in optimal
straight-line conditions is 500 feet.
The auxiliary circuitry for turning on and off
external features such as dock lights is a standard feature on the
HydroLaunch.
