right? So we’re giving you a few suggested readings from a local
bookstore, FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock.

“Blast to the Past,” Betsy Ross’s Star, By Stacia Deutsch & Rhody
Cohon, Illustrated by Guy Francis (Ages 7-10). What do you really

Conversation Guide included). Vibrant characters and emotion, set
in the South Carolina Lowcountry, reveal a gripping tale of two
sisters haunted by one tragic night. After 10 years of silence

past to the surface.

“Swim to Me,” a novel by Betsy Carter (Fiction). A cast of eccentric
outcasts, poseurs, and underdogs conjure up a time in America when
anything was possible. Set in the Sunshine State of Florida, this
story of family chasing dreams and finding the way, will have you
believing in the impossible – even in mermaids from the Bronx.
